The idea of MetroBOX might be new on the scene, but it all started 30 years ago with our parent company, MetroMovers. Over the years, MetroMovers has worked hard to build a name you can trust and rely on to move your belongings thoughtfully, professionally and with care.
That’s how we discovered a recurring problem in our industry: many of our customers called simply to load and move their belongings into or out of a storage facility. It meant they needed to coordinate and pay two separate companies for one storage service. The quality and responsibility of care was also divided between two companies, which wasn’t fair on our customers and meant they came in second best.

Each storage facility is outfitted with strategically positioned CCTV cameras and 24/7 remote video monitoring, as well as motion sensors and trip alarms. Our storage spaces comply and even surpass Australian fire safety standards, are protected from the elements and have public liability insurance up to 20 million dollars.
